How do I shop at Amazon Smile?
If you use the Amazon App to shop, follow the directions below. On a tablet or computer, simply go to the Amazon Smile website smile.amazon.com. You may also want to add a bookmark to Amazon Smile to make it even easier to return and start your shopping at Amazon Smile.
Which products on Amazon Smile are eligible for charitable donations?
Tens of millions of products on Amazon Smile are eligible for donations. You will see eligible products marked “Eligible for Amazon Smile donation” on their product detail pages. Recurring Subscribe-and-Save purchases and subscription renewals are not currently eligible.
Can I use my existing Amazon.com account on Amazon Smile?
Yes, you use the same account on Amazon.com and Amazon Smile. Your shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are also the same.
How do I select a charitable organization to support when shopping on Amazon Smile?
On your first visit to Amazon Smile, you need to select a charitable organization to receive donations from eligible purchases before you begin shopping. Amazon will remember your selection, and then every eligible purchase you make on Amazon Smile will result in a donation.” Remember you MUST see the Amazon Smile header when you checkout (see below), or your purchase will not generate a donation. After completing your checkout, you should see a confirmation that your eligible order generated a donation.
Are my eligible purchases and shopping history private?
Yes! Katherine Elementary PTA receives a lump sum donation quarterly from Amazon. We do not receive any details as to who or what was purchased, ever!
