SCHOOL OF CHOICE:

Katherine Elementary School participates in SVUSD's School of Choice program, allowing families from other neighborhoods to enroll and attend their school of choice. February of every year is School of Choice month when participating schools host tours and information sessions for interested families. The deadline for School of Choice applications is typically also at the end of February, but please check the SVUSD website for current deadlines. Please contact the front office with any questions.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

To register your child you will need the following documents:

Birth Certificate
Proof of Immunizations
Proof of Residency (a copy of a current utility bill, lease, or escrows papers are accepted)
If you are enrolling a kindergartner you will need to provide proof of a health exam and an oral health exam.
If needed, forms are available in the office.
Office hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday

BELL SCHEDULE:

All grades start at 8:15 am

Students may not be on campus before 7:50 am
Yard supervision begins at 7:50 am. If a student arrives before 7:50, they will have to wait outside the gates.

All grades are dismissed at 2:28 pm

Students will be dismissed to parents/guardians by Campus Supervisors.
Parents/guardians wishing their students to walk home regularly without supervision should notify the office.

Minimum Day Schedule

All grades have early dismissal at 1:10 pm on certain days. Please see the calendar for specific dates.
